Interrogé dans la Montreal Gazette, André Blais explique que les Québécois sont plus méfiants à l’égard de la religion, pas plus racistes que les autres Canadiens.

«“It is the case that Quebecers are more reluctant to accommodate religious minorities, more than the rest of Canada, so the big question is why,” said André Blais, a political science professor at the Université de Montréal and one of the study’s authors. “There are two potential interpretations. One is that Quebecers are, in general, more intolerant or racist, and the second interpretation is that Quebecers are less religious and less open to religious accommodation.»
