Conférence « Who supports electoral reform? » avec André Blais, Semra Sevi, et Clifton van der Linden
Electoral reform has been on the political agenda in Canada since the turn of the millennium. During the 2015 Canadian federal election, Justin Trudeau promised that would be the last election under First Past The Post. After the election, he commissioned a national public consultation to better understand the preferences of Canadians on different features of the electoral system. This study examines voters’ preferences for different features of electoral systems using approval and trade-off statements among over 200,000 Canadians.
Organisé par la Chaire de recherche en études électorales et la Chaire de recherche du Canada en démocratie électorale.
